Senang sekali ya kalau kita punya teman banyak.
Tapi kalau teman kita hanya mau menerima tanpa pernah mau memberi jelas dia mau cari enaknya sendiri .

SIAP JADI ANAK BARU
Duh, deg-degan nih besok mulai masuk sekolah baru.
Persiapan Hari Pertama Bersekolah
1. Siapkan semua perlengkapan sebelum hari H.
Hari pertama tahun ajaran baru biasanya kita belum belajar penuh.
Jadi jangan rusak mood kita gara-gara datang terlambat
Beradaptasi Dengan Lingkungan Sekolah
Tips Untuk Menambah Teman Baru

BAHASA INDONESIA IS MY LANGUAGE
Most of Indonesian probably forget or even do not know that October is the month of language. A month to appreciate the existence of Bahasa Indonesia Indonesian as an official language in this republic.
The origin of Indonesian became an official language of Republic Indonesia begins with the second Indonesian youth congress that was held in October 1928. Indonesian young nationalists realized that Indonesia consists of many groups of ethnic and hundreds of regional language and local dialects. And a language to bridge the diversity is absolutely needed.
On account of Riau Malay language is a neutral language than others in Indonesia , they chose it as base of Indonesian, the unifying language they would declare. Riau Malay language does not apply caste of language. Therefore it would be more acceptable in any society in Indonesia.
The declaration of Indonesian as unifying language represents at the third part of Youth Pledge:
We, the sons and daughters of Indonesia, respect the language of uniity, Indonesian.
And finally with the declaration of independent on 17 August 1945, Indonesian was elevated to status the official language .
Indonesian is very rich in its pronunciation, diction, spelling, accent and vocabulary. It gets influences from foreign and our own regional languages. Many words we use everyday actually derived from foreign languages. For example’’ sabun’’ and ‘’jendela ‘’ ( soap , window) derived from Portuguese ‘’sabao’’ and ‘’ janela’’; ‘’ kamar’’ and ‘’kantor’’[ chamber, office ] derived from Dutch kamer and kantoor or ‘’kolam’’ that derived from South India Tamil. Even the slang terms ‘’ gue’’ and ‘’elu’’ derived from Hokkien ‘’goa’’ and ‘’lu’’.
Regional languages enrich also Indonesian by replacing some foreign terms so that the terms be more Indonesia and easier pronounced by Indonesian native’s tongue. For example ‘’canggih’’ and ‘’pakar’’ replace ‘’sophisticated’’ and ‘’expert’’.
What a pity only few native Indonesian speaker use correct version of Indonesian. The good and correct Indonesian[ Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar] is usually used in formal situation and places such as schools, universities or government bodies. One can find it also in books, newspapers or TV and radio news programs.
Most of Indonesians think it is unusual to communicate orally with the good and correct Indonesian in casual situation. They generally use regional languages and slang in daily conversation. Indonesian slang, the informal version of Indonesian often function as primary language for people living in more urbanized regions of Indonesia. Indonesian slang is abundant also in popular media and TV and radio entertainment programs.
Indonesian slang changes time to time not only the terms or phrases but also its native name. For example bahasa prokem we could find in early 1980’s. Or the term bahasa gaul was coined in late 1990’s and we can even buy dictionary of bahasa gaul. And the newest one is slang use combination of English and Indonesian slang in one phrase. For example ‘’so what gitu loh’’ or ‘’sa’ik my man’’ that generally used by teenagers.
Nowadays more young generation feel awkward use good and correct Indonesian even in formal situation. They prefer insert slang or foreign terms in their conversation following modern day trends and so that they seem smart. However smartness is not always indicated by how many foreign terms used in someone’s conversation, is it?
Indonesian vocabularies are very rich and kept being improved. Choose correct Indonesian words, then you can create interesting conversations, even casual conversations. It is just a matter of willingness.
Let us begin use our mother language more intensively. If more foreigner seriously learn and speak good and correct Indonesian, why don’t we? 0 komentar Diposting oleh wahjoe wigati's blog di 17.06

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION
2009 just passed. We have been through good and bad times, sadness and happiness, failure and success . Welcoming new year 2010 many people make new year resolution.
New year resolution is commitment or promise to reform bad habit and change bad lifestyle in order to create a better new year. Study harder, lose weight, stop smoking and do more exercise are some examples of new year resolution.
New year resolution hel ps people to focus on set goal and plan detailed action of a year. Everyone , even children, can make new year resolution. But fulfilling resolution is not as simple as making it.
People face often many obstacles in the process of keeping and fulfilling a resolution. Generally at the end of year, only few people can fulfill their resolution as planned. Many people give up and even abandon their resolution because they can not overcome the obstacles.
Actually keeping and fulfilling a resolution, including new year resolution, is not as difficult as people think. Two things can be considered when a person make new year resolution.
Firstly, a resolution maker has to decide the most important achievable resolution. A simple, achievable and attainable resolution is easier to keep than some ‘”fantastic” ones with insufficient supporting ability. Anyway the simpler resolution is chosen, relatively the simpler obstacle must be faced.
Secondly, communicating the resolution with trusted closest people such as family and friends can help a resolution maker to keep it. They can be great supporters anytime a resolution maker wants to give up and abandon the resolution. Their advice is useful to win through obstacles in fulfilling a resolution . And if a resolution maker wants to measure the achievement of his/her resolution, opinions of the trusted closest people are too worthy to be ignored.
Although a new year resolution is often not achieved as planned but successfully keeping it at the end of year will bring great feeling of accomplishment and more self confidence to a resolution maker. Once a person can keep a resolution, he/she will not hesitate to make and keep then other ones.
Keeping a resolution is a very good habit. Imagine if more people made and kept their resolution we surely could create better society from year to year.
Since people can learn to realize an ideal life and not just dream it by making and keeping a resolution , including new year resolution.

WATER FOR HUMAN WELL-BEING
Water is very essentials for humans. Everyday humans need clean and fresh water for drinking, sanitation, bathing and cooking. Human can live without food about a month, but without water human can survive only about a week.
The earth’s total amount of water has volume of about 344 million cubic miles. The overall amount has remained the same since the earth was formed. But only 2,5% of the total amount of water on earth can be classified as fresh water and less than 1% can be used as drinking water.
It is obvious that water supply on earth is very limited while life style changes make humans use more water each year. Population and industrial growth add new source of water pollution and contamination make clean and fresh water supplies on earth decrease.
Many efforts have been done by public water systems to improve water quality but readily accessible water supply for all world population is still insufficient. Not all regions on earth have improved water supply. Not all people have access to safe water.
Most people, especially poor people living in slums have to pay very expensive to buy clean and fresh water. In other regions, people have to walk kilometers to fetch water. Even more we hear often people consume polluted and contaminated water although it is quite possible they get water relate diseases as a result. Some observers have estimated that by 2025 more than half of the world population will be facing water-based vulnerability and by 2030 in some developing regions of the world, water demand will exceed supply by 50%.
Concern about the critical condition United Nation General Assembly with recommendation of 1992 UN Conference of Environment Development declared March 22 as World Day of Water (also known as World Water Day).
The observances of the World Water Day aim focusing attention on the importance of clean and fresh water and raising awareness about the sustainable management of water resources. Each year the World Water Day has different theme that highlights a specific aspect off clean and fresh water. The theme of the World Water Day 2010 is communicating water quality challenge and opportunities.
It is very important to consider not only quantity of resource but also water quality in water management. Because water quality affects condition of ecosystem and human well-being. Sufficient good quality water can support the creation of human and environmental health. Human well-being can be achieved more easily by healthy human who lives in healthy environment.
Activities and campaigns of the World Water Day 2010 is aimed to raise awareness about sustaining healthy ecosystems and human well-being through the increasing of water quality and encouraging governments, organizations, communities and individuals around the world to proactively raise the profile of water.
As part of the world population, we can involve in World Water Day themes implementing. Wisely use clean and fresh water and reuse domestic waste water are simple actions we can start from home to save water usage. Besides, we can also prevent and reduce water pollution and contamination by not disposing of waste into rivers.
Where there is a will, everyone can do any simple actions that affect greatly to save water supply on earth.

International Day of Persons with Disability
Almost 10% of world’s population live with disability. They often face barriers, stigma and discrimination in their communities. They often do not get access to fulfill their basic rights such as food, education, employment or health services.
United Nation has commitment to ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights for all people in the world including persons with disability. Adopting Standard Rules on Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disability and The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disability and established the World Programme of Action concerning Disabled People are some efforts have been done by the UN to support the empowerment and integration persons with disability in all aspects of society around the world.
On 14 October1982 the UN General Assembly proclaimed 3 December as the International Day of Persons with Disability. The proclamation of the Day is meant to promote an understanding of disability issues, the rights of persons with disability and efforts to integrate persons with disability in every aspects of life of their communities.
Many activities are usually held by organizations either governmental n or non-governmental, education institutions and private sector to observe the Day such as public discussions and information campaigns that focusing on disability issues and how persons with disability and their families can contribute in every aspects of their communities. We can find also performances of persons with disability that show their varied skills, interests and aspirations.
The observance of the Day has different theme every year. And the theme of the international day of persons with disability this year is “Making the MDGs Inclusive : Empowerment persons with disability and their communities around the world”.
We know MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) are eight international development goals that have been agreed by the 192 signatories of the commitment to achieve in the year 2015. The MDGs foster actions to reduce most serious development problems of countries around the world.
The MDGs are specifically designed to fulfill the needs of poor citizens and marginal population of the world. According to the World Bank’s findings disability is associated with 20% of global poverty. Which means persons with disability and their families should be integrated into the MDG’s programmes, policies, monitoring and evaluations.
Although many commitment have been made to integrate persons with disability into all development activities, nationally or internationally. But with various reason the integration process often can not be realized. Of course it can hinder the achievement of development goals. The same situation happens also in the implementation of the MDGs. Currently, the implementation process of MDG do not specifically include disability issue and persons with disability.
The theme of the international day of person with disability 2009 aims ”insisting” policy makers to begin considering disability issue in the implementation of the MDGs. So that the MDGs can be more inclusive and be achieved successfully by including persons with disability and their families.
A strategy suggested by the UN ENABLE to eliminate hindrances of persons with disability to integrate into achievement process of development goals including MDGs is Community- Based Rehabilitation (CBR).
CBR which is practiced by over 90 countries links between persons with disability and development initiatives. As a strategy that empowers persons with disability and their family members CBR is inclusive for persons with disability, flexible, dynamic and adaptable to different socio-economic conditions, terrain, cultures and political systems throughout the world.
The implementation of CBR combines efforts of persons with disability, their families, communities and relevant organizations either governmental or non-governmental that work in development sectors. By empowering persons with disability through community actions, CBR ensures they have same rights and opportunities as other community members.
Related to the theme of the international day of persons with disability this year , CBR can be considered also as a strategy to implement the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disability and similar national legislations of countries which have not ratified the Convention yet.
Persons with disability are not object of development. They do have impairment but many of them have also potential ability that might be useful to achieve development goals. They can be subject of development activities only if they get opportunity. We better begin to give them opportunity to participate and contribute in all aspects of life including in development activities. Together with persons with disability we can achieve development goals as we expect and create a better world for all human being.

WHAT IS SELF LOVE?
Many of us do not know the real meaning of self love. We relate generally self love with the satisfied feelings that caused by fulfillment of personal wants and needs. Self love is often connoted as an egoism since people presume it affects only on oneself.
More than that we can assume self love as a learning process to love ourselves, people around us and even other creatures in the world.
The process begins with the essential of self love which is accepting ourselves unconditionally. It is easier to love ourselves if we can accept it either in good or bad condition. We have to realize that everyone is unique and God has purpose creating us in the world. We always have to thank God for all things we have.
Taking very good care of ourselves is the next step of the process. Why do not we choose good lifestyle and maintain our beloved body, soul and mind so that they stay healthy and in good condition? Keeping away from things that can harm our body such as drugs, alcohol and cigarette are parts of good lifestyle. And don’t forget to nourish our soul and mind by always thinking positive and see everything in good point of view. Not only make our soul and mind comfort, it can also enrich our personal lives.
The other part of ourselves that needs to be our concern is dignity. We surely never want anyone with any reason condescends us and does not respect our dignity. Having good manner and attitude and obeying norms in society make someone is always more respected than being rich and famous. And that is what we should do. Anyway it reduces possibility of anyone who wants to hurt us physically or mentally.
And there are more things we can do in order to love ourselves. As long as we live, we have to keep on loving ourselves and improving the quality of our self love. The more we can accept, love and honor ourselves the more we will be able to understand and love other people. People will see our radiating self love. Sincerely they will accept us and love we give. They will return our love even more.
It is not wrong to love ourselves as long as it does not deprive other people. On the contrary self love makes you and people around you happy.
Why don’t we begin to love ourselves first before we love others?
